INGREDIENTS
2 cups granulated CRYSTAL SUGAR®
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup shortening
3 teaspoons baking powder
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
5 cups flour
6 tablespoons milk
DIRECTIONS
- Mix all ingredients.
- Roll out dough to ¼-inch thickness and cut shapes with cookie cutters.
- Sprinkle additional granulated sugar on top of cookie shapes.
- Bake at 375°F until desired brownness (10–12 minutes).
Yield: 3 dozen cookies, depending on size.
